COVID-19 INFORMATION CENTRE
Notice to Members: October 2nd, 2021

As you may be aware, the Province of Nova Scotia has announced a mandatory Proof of Vaccination Policy that will take effect on Monday, October 4, 2021.

The West Pubnico Golf Club was scheduled to close on Sunday, October 3, 2021, however, due to the uncertainty of the Provincial Mandate, and what our responsibilities will be once we close for the off season golfers, we have decided to remain open until Sunday, October 10, 2021. This is being done for the following reasons:

1) To build a database of our Members who are Vaccinated. If you are a Member and wish to continue to golf in the off-season (pending then you must register at the club house and provide your Proof of Vaccination and Photo ID.

2)To get clarification from the Province of Nova Scotia on what the Golf Club's responsibility will be once we are closed for the season regarding off-season golfing. Please note that unless we can get verification of the club's responsibilities, off season golfing may not be possible.
For those that are not members and wish to golf, Green Fees will be sold as long as we are open, however, Proof of Vaccination and Photo ID are required. Once the course is closed, all non members are prohibited from Golfing in the off season. Winter memberships will not be sold this season.

All Golfers/Visitors to the Golf Course must immediately report to the club house to confirm Proof of Vaccination or will be subjected to being suspended/banned from the course during the Mandate.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Management and staff we want to Thank You in Advance for your understanding and patience as we navigate through this Mandate. If you have any concerns, Please direct your questions to our email at wpgolf@eastlink.ca

Regards
